INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR - AERO INDIA 2009

India values synergetic interactions among professionals who share technical expertise for mutual benefits. Sharing technology leads to development of cost effective solutions and specialized skills in people. Well articulated suggestions and recommendations that emerge during such interactions enable participants to shape policies and programmes in their own areas of expertise.

With this end in view, the Seventh Edition of Aero India 2009 - the Biennial Aerospace Exposition  - is being hosted by the Department of Defence Production, Government of India from the 11th to 15th of February 2009. An International Aerospace Seminar is being conducted as a prelude to this event from the 9th to 11th of February 2009 by the Defence Research and Development Organization in association with the Aeronautical Society of India.

With the Indian economy growing by leaps and bounds and with the ever expanding Indian Aerospace Market, International joint ventures have become inevitable. Equally important is the increasing role of the private sector in India in Aerospace Research and Manufacture.

The theme of the seminar has been made futuristic, bringing into focus the new frontiers of Aerospace. 50 eminent speakers from india and abroad will present papers on various sub-themes under the growing aerospace regime. This concept would provide for extensive interaction and flow of information across communities of scientists, designers, manufacturers, users, operations and academia forging a strong alliance for furtherance of the cause of aerospace.
