The suggested guidelines are for printing hardcopy of proceedings or for publishing in the Journal of Aeronautical Society of India (Journal of Aerospace Sciences and Technologies)
- In case the format suggested cannot be adhered to for any reason, the speaker could choose a convenient format under intimation to the organisers.
- The copyright is required for publishing of the paper presented. In case publishing is not preferred, this may be waived.
- Given below are the suggested general guidelines for preparation of Keynote Address/Technical Paper for presentation at the International Seminar - Aero India 2013.
(a) Please prepare your presentation in a single column format using MS Word 2007 or above or page maker software or coral draw version 12/13. (b) Please use A4 size, 210 mm x 297 mm (8.27” x 11.69”) with margins of 1” on all sides. Use Times New Roman font, 11 point, Regular, Single line spacing, for the normal text. (c) Please organize your paper as follows leaving 2-line space after each section and one line space between subsections:
i) Paper title : Centered, Times New Roman 14, Bold ii) Names of Author(s): Centered, Times New Roman 12. List all names, separated by commas followed by affiliations on the subsequent line(s). Please include Initials and last name, Designation, Name of the Institution with postal addresses, Phone No, Fax No and Email addresses; for example iii) Format: iv) Abstract: 100-150 words, Justified, Text in Times New Roman 11, Regular v) Section Title: Centered, Times New Roman 12, Bold vi) Section Sub title: Left aligned, Times New Roman 11, Bold vii) Use further de-emphasizing for further sub-sub-subtitles etc., if required. viii) Text: Justified, Times New Roman 11, Regular ix) Figures / Tables / illustrations and photographs: To be embedded in the text at appropriate places. Figure titles should appear at the bottom of the figure and table title at the top of the table. Figures and tables should be numbered separately in Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3… etc). Photographs, if any, should be on glossy paper without any scratches. Photographs can be in JPEG format. x) References should be serially numbered in the order of their appearance in the text and the list should be placed at the end. Authors’ names should appear with initials followed by the last name.
(d) Please send a good print of your full paper, along with a copy on CD safely packed. It is preferred if you can also send your paper by email to

(e) We will be able to provide all commonly used projection facilities including multimedia projection system. Nevertheless, we request you to specify your projection requirements for enabling us to make proper arrangements at the seminar hall. Transparencies / slides for projection should not be cluttered and should be legible so as to enable delegates to see clearly the projected materials on the screen from a distance in the large auditorium. (f) Last date for receipt of abstracts prepared as per our guidelines is 15 Sep 2012. The full paper should be sent latest by 01 Oct 12 (Contributed Papers) and 31 Oct 12 (Invited Papers). (g) After publishing the paper in the seminar proceedings, the Aeronautical Society of India will have the right to publish it in its journals at a later date. A certificate to this effect to be signed by authors / speakers is enclosed for filling and despatch to the Secretary, Seminar Organising Committee.

a) Invited Speakers are not required to pay any delegate fee. b) Speakers are requested to forward 2 recent stamp size colour photographs and one postcard size photograph or softcopy by email. c) Foreign speakers are requested provide following details:

d) All seminar papers and talks will be in English Language only. If a speaker wishes to talk in any other language, translation in English will be arranged. Please do let us know in advance. e) The presentations are planned to be aired live on internet. The videos of the presentation will be available in our site in future for public to watch and benefit.
